So its, actually a lot better than I thought... I like it, they're a lot more relaxed than I expected. Lots of fun and laughter and loud, loud conversations. I however have my yearly dose of "go to the damn dentist and get your wisdom teeth out" so I'm a bit out of ti. I hate dentists so I refuse to go. So once a year, they play up, and the entire side of my face turns into a throbbing pulsing mass of nerves and pain.
On that happy note, I'm heading to bed. Sleep well.

Family
So, I should probably postr this tonight but you know, I'm bored of house/school work.
I have my Father's eldest brother and his new wife coming tonight. They were supposed to be here for lunch but their car broke down an hour out of Brisbane and they had to wait three hours to get it fixed. They'll be stopping by on their way to Adelaide. Apparently at some point three years ago I offended him. I have no idea how, nor do I actually care. This is a family that plays "no speaks" for months on end, drinks an entire slab in one hit and has more children than any of them can afford. And they're still breeding! Three this year, well two and a half so far.
I'll probably rant about them after they get here too.

FML
Fuck My Life.
I recently discovered this site. And now I have an ecuse to use the term.
I learned clarinet, flute, recorder, guitar and tinn whistle. I can't play any of them. Now I remember why.
You have to practice!!!!!
I guess once you get past the basics it'd be ok but Mummy is currently learning guitar. A-chord, E-chord X-chord. Oh my god I am going to go insane from this!

Day 27
day 27 - a problem that you have had.
A problem? A problem? I have had so many problems this month its not funny.
First my work register has been out, then my friend and I had a huge spat because she can't send a bloody message, I forget my assignments are due and then my wisdom teeth decide that this week is my teething week.
I guess, though, it's supposed to be bigger. Well my dad went to prison for two years, I don't talk to my family and my best friend of 15 years is moving to America.
So yeah, I guess I have problems but they're not big ones, and overall I've had a pretty damned lucky life - its why I want a four-leaf clover on my shoulder.

Day 26
day 26 - what kind of person attracts you.
Well, as I've never had a boyfriend or a girlfriend, I'm not entirely sure. I mean, I'm kinda short so I like it when someone taller than me wraps me up their arms, and I'm not a fan of overweight people. Not that I don't like them, I mean, I'm "obese" according to my BMI, but when you're so big you can't walk that really turns me off mentally. I like eyes and hair and arses. Seriously, big chocolate brown puppy eyes or sinking deep blue or green or grey. I guess I have a preferance for dark hair, short to shoulder length, cause I like being able to play with it.
Hey, I said I hadn't had a partner, not that I hadn't had sex.
Uh, I guess, they'd have to like sci-fi and not be an alcoholic. No drugs, preferably no smoking. Possibly a little socially awkward? I hate huge crowds and I'm not a big friend circle person.
Also Uni sucks... 5 units is way too many when three of them you haven't done any of the assignments for cause you've been too busy with the other two and work.

Day 25
day 25 - someone who fascinates you and why.
Do I actually know enough people to answer this?
I guess, the people who fascinate me most are authors - Neil Gaiman, Matthew Reilly, Terry Pratchett. Jennifer Fallon and Traci Harding and Trudi Canavan.
They just look at the world in such a way that they can then go and write a story that draws you in and teaches you and holds you completely in thrall. To write stories like that - you have to see the world as it can be, rahter than what it is. I have trouble with that - I see a tree and think wow, they seem to see a tree and think oh shit is that a doorway to another world?

Day 24
day 24 - your favourite movie and what it’s about.
Oh god, you want me to pick just one? Fine, I guess it'll have to b the cheesiest one I know. Yes, I watch this at least once a year, along with most of the Disney Movies.
Princess Bride.
Its about a young man named Wesley and a princess called Buttercup. Wesley becomesthe apprentice to the Dread Pirate Rodger, and Buttercup is all set to marry evil prince Humperdink when Wesley rescues her. Also there's Inigo Montoya "you killed my father, prepare to die". Its so bloody amusing and I love it. *nods*
If you haven't seen it, go watch it!

Day 23
day 23 - give pictures of 5 girls who are famous who you find attractive. I cite being bisexual for mixing in some boys here.
Ok, so I dont't know how to add photo's here. Instead I'll list them and why I think they're hot and you can google them, m'k?
1. Amanda Tapping. I'm a die hard SG1 fan and Sanctuary is rapidly catching up, though mostly for Tesla. Still. She's cute, fun and looks great with just an American flag wrapped around her.
2. Benedict Cumberbatch. He plays Sherlock in the BBC version. He's tall dark and handsome - need I say more? Kinda oddly, I also like Robert Downey Jr, who also plays Sherlock.
3. Milla Jovovich. Mostly I find her really skinny, but she's got such amazing eyes. No matter what, you always feel how intense she is. Also, Fifth Element.
4. Jensen Ackles. Dean from Supernatural, Ben/Alec from Dark Angel. He's a little short, well muscled and god those eyes. I also like Jared Padalecki and Mischa Collins - eyes and arses. So hot.
5. Molly C Quinn. She's the jail-bait daughter in Castle. Yet again, its her eyes. Also the really hot body. And the adorable smile. Also Castle and Becket are hot.

Day 22
OK so, after being called in for a stupidly long shift I really didn't have the will power to check my blog yesterday. Also I may have looked at the prompt and gone wha?
how have you changed in the past 2 years?
I just don't even know how to answer this.... It's way more introspective than I've ever thought about being.
I guess though, I'm less tolerant of dicking around. Make a decision and stick to it, if it's a bad one, change your mind. Don't dick around for hours on end over it. I'm also more solid in what I believe and whether I'll let it slide if someone's trying to change my mind.
I dunno, maybe I've always been a irritating brat. The only difference now really is that I'm working/studying more and saving more money too. Though that's mostly because my best friend is now confirmed to be moving to USA in 6 months. Not in a good mood over that. I kknew it was coming, had mostly accepted it but the reality of it is making my head spin. I got virtual hugs of another friend and burst into tears today... Not a good feeling.

Day 21
day 21 - one of your favourite shows.
ONE? JUST ONE!?!?!
Ok, fine. Uh, well.... I guess....
Unnatural History. It's about this kid who's lived all over the world in tents and caves and stuff and get sent to school at the Smithsonian in Washington DC. He works (because apparently going to school/uni in America means working for the school in some capacity) in the DOOM room and gets involved in various problems etc.
I like the way it works - its kinda cheesy, a bit silly and a lot amusing. He's spent his life learning to fight and only eats food that's actually good for you - ostrich over beef, organic only etc. He meets his cousin and one of the girls, who is not really a love interest. Which I adore - I'm so sic of boy meets girl etc. etc.
There's only one season of it so far which sucks but hey, it was good.
