day 19 - disrespecting your parents.
There's a reason I never watched the Simpsons as a kid and it's entirely due to that sentence *points up*.
My Father was fanatical about it, I never watched Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad or the one about Fry... Can't remember what its called, its set in the future. Mummy preffered me to not watch shows like Charmed for about a year before she relaxed - mostly cause she realised she was being a hypocrit. Charmed comes out here one year and the next she's asking me about this "show with three sisters but they're all witches", "yes Mummy, you said I couldn't watch it because it's not Christian and would warp my idea of what's real", "oh".
I never liked disrespecting my elders any way. I'm fairly polite unless people are being spectacularly stupid or inefficient. <- I should explain that one shouldn't I? One of my friends is the kind of person who will stand in front of a display of ten items, decide she wants one, then compares it to the other nine. She then spends the next half an hour changing her mind over which item to buy and whether she actually needs the item. After which she then calls me and asks me to help her decide. At which point I yell and slam the phone down.
